"Mission In Motion" Summer Sunday School Series
Through August 21st, get ready to be inspired as Slate Hill-ers and community representatives take us on a missional journey. Each Sunday, from 11:00-11:45AM, an intergenerational Christian education class will take place in the sanctuary. The series will be kid-friendly and we will learn about the ways people with Slate Hill connections have seen our missional God at work in our world Nursery care is available for 4 and under. As part of the summer series, we’ll be doing a fundraising project that will benefit the work of Thriving Villages Initiative, a nonprofit that funds medical and educational work in Haiti and that was started by Ben and Jen Frederick. Individuals and groups in the congregation will have a chance to do fundraising projects throughout the summer. Join us on this missional journey!

July 17: CentrePeace and Prayer-Mates (spiritual correspondence with prisoners, a program of a peace center related to the Church of the Brethren): Thom Brewster

July 24: Bridge of Hope (program assisting homeless women and children): Melanie Miller

July 31: Thriving Villages Initiative (medical and educational work in Haiti): Ben Frederick

Aug. 7: Eastern Mennonite Missions (Lancaster Mennonite Conference’s mission board): Andrew Mashas

August 14: Mennonite Central Committee (SALT program in Uganda, specifically): Megan Bennicoff

August 21: Mexico: Karisa Klemm
